Lake District Self Catering offers quality holiday accommodation in a 5 star, 16th century Grade 2 listed manor house in Grange-over-Sands - the 'Lake District Riviera'.

This historic building, Hardcragg Hall, has welcomed visitors for over 400 years, including Beatrix Potter who was a frequent guest to the Hall. Oliver Cromwell was also reputed to have visited the Hall between military excursions.

Built in 1563 Hardcragg Hall is believed to be the oldest house in Grange-over-Sands in the Southern Lake District.

HBO is an invaluable tool to take bookings and then monitor those bookings from start to finish. The system prompts at key stages in the booking process means that no individual booking gets overlooked.

Our process is to take a deposit to reserve the holiday dates, this is followed by a full balance payment closer to the holiday and finally with a refundable good housekeeping bond to be paid a week before arrival. With over 50 bookings a year it would be easy to lose track where on is in the process for any individual account. HBO software means that this never happens.

Customers can easily see the price and availability of Hardcragg Hall and many will book directly through the system which frees up time that might otherwise have been spent answering the phone, sometimes at unsociable hours.

The fact that customers can see the extent of bookings already taken can we think also be a sigh of reassurance to those who are not so confident making online bookings.
